What you need to know about Autodesk Certification

The Autodesk Certification program was developed to objectively validate the skills and knowledge of anyone—student or professional—who uses Autodesk software. Autodesk Certification can enhance the competitive edge and reputation of organizations that adopt its use while providing an industry-accepted credential that students and professionals can use to achieve academic success and advance their careers.

Competition for talent is fierce in today’s marketplace. Universities want to enroll the smartest, most committed students and equip them for professional success after they graduate. Employers want to attract and retain well-qualified, ambitious professionals who not only work hard but also help them win new projects and gain industry recognition. Students and professionals just want to get ahead—and stay there.

Professional Certification allows experienced professionals with careers involving 2D and 3D design skills to certify their knowledge and experience with Autodesk applications and put themselves in line for career advancement. It was developed to objectively validate the skills and knowledge of anyone—student or professional—who uses Autodesk software.

Autodesk offers two certification levels—get started to highlight your abilities.

TIER 1: Certified User demonstrates competency in entry-level skills and is geared towards users who have completed 150 hours of experience using the software, outside of the educational program.

TIER 2: Certified Professional demonstrates advanced skills and is designed for advanced and professional Autodesk software users who possess at least 400 hours of experience using the program.

Focusing on advanced skills, Autodesk Professional Certification is Tier 2 in the certification spectrum and currently the only one available at Microsol Resources Certification Centers.
