Revit Model Comparison Tool: Demo / Tutorial

The Model Comparison tool is a little known Subscription Advantage Enhancement with one very powerful function. One often encounters scenarios during the course of a project where one is faced with multiple versions of the same file with important variations between them. More often than not, variations from both files may need to be saved and this is where the Model Comparison Tool comes in handy.

The video example above is a captioned demonstration of one such scenario where the user has two models: one from yesterday and one from today. The challenge is to isolate objects that have changed in either location, parameters or sketch between the two models. Once isolated, the variant components can be copied and pasted into relevant files as needed.
