By Anna Liza Montenegro | Event

Organized by The Architect’s Newspaper and Mode Collective, DesignX Workshops will offer designers intensive training courses in the latest digital design tools in a special purpose built classroom at the Javits Convention Center, Booth #2270. The workshops will run from May 18th to May 21st.

At ICFF you can get in the digital fabrication game through DesignX, a series of hands-on workshops bringing together leading experts from digital design and fabricationright on the show floor. Microsol Resources is proud to be a partner and will be at the event presenting various workshops on cutting edge 3D printing tools.

These workshops on the topics of Digital Tools, Fabrication On-Demand, and Cloud-Based Appswill bring designers up to speed on the latest software, and will show you how to harness fabrication technology to bring your ideas to reality. Visit designx.is for a complete list of courses, including 3D Printed Fabrics in Rhino, Designing for Production: 123D Make, and Design in the Cloud: Fusion360, and much more. DesignX attendees will be granted free admission to ICFF.

New fabrication technologies like 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser-cutting are revolutionizing the design world, allowing designers to create prototypes and small production lines to take to manufacturers or even directly to market. But what if youve never used these technologiesor the software they rely on before?

Visit http://designx.is/ for more information and the workshop schedule. We hope to see you there!
