With coronavirus (COVID-19) affecting communities and families around the world, this is a difficult time for all of us. At Microsol Resources, our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, clients, and our community.
Our team is working from home and available to assist our clients with technical support, sales requirements or any other information that might be needed. All of us at Microsol Resources are focused on enabling our customers to be productive and collaborative during this challenging time.
Here are a few things we are doing to accomplish this goal:
Employees using Autodesk software remotely need to activate licenses properly, and if they use Revit they also need to take steps to avoid issues of latency with large files. To learn more about Activating your Autodesk Software for Home Use and Using Revit in Remote Locations, please read our blog articles that share how your teams can access software, collaborate and stay connected.
In addition, Autodesk has put together a Resources Center with a variety of information and resources to have reliable access to their software and Autodesk support.
One of the resources is the Autodesk’s Extended Access Program for cloud collaboration products, which provides for 60 days of access to these tools at no charge. This program utilizes the free 30-day product trial download process but extends it an additional 30 days during this crisis. Products and services include BIM 360 Docs, BIM 360 Design, Fusion 360, Fusion Team, AutoCAD Web and Mobile, and Shotgun – all for commercial use. Autodesk will continue to evaluate the potential expansion of this program as the needs of customers warrant.

During physical distancing, our ability to be able to carry out GeoSLAM demo has been restricted so we’ve come up with a solution to bring it to you. You can have a Demo in a Box, use it for surveying and data capture into a model or drawing, so you can integrate clear and comprehensive data and real-time processing. To use the demo, just fill out this form.
If you are experiencing issues using Rhino or Enscape or any other software we support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
For training, we have postponed all in-person training and offer CADLearning for on-demand, on-line training on Autodesk software including Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360 products, and more. This can be a great resource for you and your team members while working remotely. You can access a free 30-day trial at this time.
We have suspended our 3D Printing Services, as we are unable to access our machines during these difficult days.
In this period of social distancing, we continue to host free online events to provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the latest in design technology and software solutions and earn your CEUs. Check out our upcoming online events.
Microsol Resources is here to support you during these unprecedented times. Our staff is available for any questions or concerns you have.
