Microsol Resources, a technology solutions firm headquartered in New York, is seeking a Sales Support Representative for our midtown Manhattan office. We’re looking for a highly organized and efficient professional who will be responsible for supporting Account Executives in selling products and services to the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) and Civil Engineering markets.

We seek candidates with a strong desire to succeed and the personality to be a team player. Candidates must have excellent phone and written communication skills. Previous sales experience is valued but not required. However, prior administrative or clerical experience will be enormously helpful in ensuring success in this position. Most important, we are looking for nice people.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of the portfolio of products and services we offer and how they directly benefit our clients
  • Make calls to existing customers and prospective new customers
  • Build relationships with existing and new clients
  • Follow leads to acquire new business
  • Provide administrative assistance to account executives and management team
  • Perform data entry duties with regard to sales opportunities, account information and other key data
  • Generate and send sales quotations in a timely fashion
  • Create and process sales orders
  • Compile daily lists of leads to transfer to account executives
  • Handle administrative duties for the organization as required
Required Qualifications
  • Must be self-motivated with a desire to achieve and exceed goals
  • Candidates must have excellent phone and written communication skills
  • Must have strong administrative, clerical, record-keeping and computing expertise
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented, technical sales environment
