Model Optimization
A model made in a 3D software application, whether it is CAD or BIM, may not be “3D print ready.” Microsol Resources can either fix your model or teach you what is needed to make it ready to print. Please contact one of our 3D printing specialists for a free consultation. We look forward to helping you bring your designs to life.
3D Printing Services
In order to print your design, we will need a print ready file. If you have a 3D solid or water tight model, send it over for a free 3D print evaluation and quote. We will check it for printability, ensure your material and color options are available, and correspond with you via email or phone calls regarding print questions and concerns. For some projects a free screen share session will be set up to discuss any last minute adjustments that may be necessary. Please contact one of our 3D printing specialists for a quote.
3D Printing Software
Microsol Resources sells, supports, and offers training for the very best modeling software available, including: Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Maya, and McNeel’s Rhinoceros. Any 3D modeling software that can create water tight solids can be used to make a model for printing. Microsol Resources can print your model, sell you the software, and train you on the best practices to make the right geometry that is “print ready.”
We frequently host live and online events to help our clients learn more about bringing their designs to life. Take a look at our previously recorded webinar on Making a Model for 3D Printing: Our Best Practices.
