  • Visual Inspection and Cleaning

    A visual check of all the printer components and basic cleaning of the printer’s primary components to ensure no errors or issues occur during printing. Recommendations for replacement parts may be given.

  • Preventive Maintenance

    Thorough inspection, cleaning and replacement of common parts, part of the preventative maintenance kit.

  • Out of Contract Repair Service

    Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of 3D printer equipment at an hourly rate plus the cost of parts needed.

  • Expired Contract Renewal Procedure

    Inspection and testing of printer to ensure it is ready to be approved by 3D Systems for a service contract.

  • 3D Printer Move Preparation and Re-Installation

    Guarantee your 3D Printer is prepared and secured for moving. Following the move*, we will be there to make sure your 3D printer is installed at its new location without any issues.
    *Moving is the owner's responsibility

  • 3D Printer Environmental Analysis

    Perform analysis of environment around the 3D printer, confirm it is operating within manufacturer’s specified environment, and will recommend solutions to run optimally.

  • 3D Printer Placement

    Placement of personnel we train to manage, maintain, and support the 3D printer for our customers who don’t have the staff.

  • 3D Model Extraction and Post Processing Service

    Removal of 3D models from the build bed/plate and post processing for our customers who don’t have the time or staff to finish their 3D models.

  • 3D Printer Maintenance

    Maintenance is provided as per 3D Systems maintenance contract which includes any diagnosis, troubleshooting, parts and labor that may be needed to resolve your printer errors or issues. The printer must be maintained as per the user manual and kept in the proper operating environment as specified in the facilities requirements guide.

  • Yearly Maintenance Visit

    A yearly preventive maintenance visit and kit will be performed to check the printer and replace common parts that wear out over time. The PM visit is usually performed on the same month of contract expiration but can be scheduled to coincide with deadlines or before high volume usage.

  • Same Day Support Responses

    Same day response time for any phone or email inquiries will be provided with instructions for remote support. All support requests must be emailed to and a detailed description of your error/issues should be sent with the printer’s log file and photos of the fast axis and build area.

  • Service Visits

    Typically a 1 – 2 day window for service visits and appointments will be needed (depending on technician schedule and availability). We are available Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Microsol Resources does not work on Saturdays or Sundays.

  • Part Replacement

    Common replacement parts are stocked in-house and all other parts are ordered as needed. Examples of common parts are pogo card, pogo cable, belts, septums, and PM kits. Electronics/computer boards and atypical parts are ordered from 3DS and may be subject to availability.

  • Backup Printing Services

    Backup printing services will be provided for the customer if the printer has been down or unusable for more than 5 business days because of part availability. Backup printing will be charged based on the 3D print’s material cost plus 30%. Also, depending on the 3D print and technician availability, the customer may be requested to come and extract their model from our 3D printer.
