BIM SPECIALISTS | Boston, New York & Philadelphia
Microsol Resources – a technology and services provider for the architectural, engineering, and construction industry – is looking to add BIM Specialists to our growing firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of our technical team, you will provide our architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) customer base with outstanding BIM Support. You will be responsible for providing support, training, and implementation of Autodesk AEC software, including:
- Performing BIM health checks, developing and implementing BIM standards, assisting clients with authoring BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and other BIM-related services.
- Responding to support requests on BIM and CAD applications via email, telephone, and/or screen share while documenting interactions in Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Instruct beginner and advanced training sessions on CAD/BIM software applications to industry professionals.
- Delivering engaging, professional pre and post-sales demonstrations to customers on AEC software capabilities.
- Leading technical presentations and educational sessions, internally and externally, on industry software features and trends.

What you’ll bring to the table:
- You’ll have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction environment.
- You are advanced to expert Revit or Civil 3D user and have knowledge extending beyond the “picks-and-clicks” and have a deep understanding of the best practices and workflows for using BIM software.
- You can provide well-thought-out and clear directives to help clients resolve their issues either over the phone or in written communication.
- You have the initiative to learn additional Autodesk design/collaborations applications and the workflows that drive their use in the AEC industry.
- You can professionally engage with the entire spectrum of client personas from C-Suite to the end-user.
- You work well in a team-oriented, technical environment.
Not essential, but nice to have:
- Intermediate to expert knowledge on any of these applications: Navisworks, Rhino, Enscape, Panzura, and Salesforce
- Knowledge of Dynamo/Grasshopper, C# or Python programming languages, and Revit API programming is a plus

- The position is for a hybrid office and work-from-home structure and will need to be able to commute to one of our office locations in New York, Philadelphia, or Boston offices
