When you first open Revit after setting up A360 Collaboration for Revit (“C4R”), you should see the new Communicator window:
This panel provides selected information, such as the list of projects, synchronization status, and chat sessions sent via A360.
Instead, you go to the Collaborate tab, look at the Communicate panel, and select Communicator.
We also noticed that in some instances, the Communicator button is not present in the panel; i.e. if you close the Communicator, you may not be able to open it again.
If you run into this issue, Autodesk recommends that you close Revit, and delete the UIState.dat file in the following location:
%APPDATA%AutodeskRevit <Revit Version> 2015
Obviously, for other year versions, use the correct year (e.g. 2016). If this does not fix the issue, the next step is to close Revit and delete your Revit.INI file. Please note this will reset your Revit interface settings. The file is normally located at:
%userprofile%AppDataRoamingAutodeskRevitAutodesk Revit 2015
Also, keep in mind that if you rename the existing Revit.INI file and leave it in that directory, it will be deleted when you next open Revit.
